Downtown Brisbane.  With one and a half million people, Brisbane is Australia's third largest city, behind Sydney and Melbourne.

This is a very nice park in the city.

An interesting contrast of new and old.

Sunset on the Brisbane River as seen through the river bridge.  The bridge is quite high -- The T/S Maxim Gorki passed under the bridge!

Bye-bye Brisbane!  The T/S Maxim Gorki is sailing to the Tasman Sea, and on to Sydney.
